National Army Museum

As a living historian I am always looking for ways to give back to the veterans that have fought and died for my freedoms. Today in the mail I received a pamphlet from the “National Army Museum.” I was intrigued due to the fact that I had never heard of it. After doing some online searching I found the following information.

“In 2011, along the Potomac in the heart of the Washington National Capital Region - something momentous will happen. The National Museum of the United States Army will open its doors. All American soldiers will finally have what they have never had before - a home of their own, the one place they will want their family and friends and every American citizen to go to learn about, connect with, and share the achievements of the United States Army.”

The foundation is currently looking for donations and founding sponsors to help cover costs. I highly recommend you look into donating to this wonderful cause.
