Saturday, February 3rd, 2007As a living historian I am always concerned about authenticity. My impression from my head to my boots, needs to be as accurate as I can make it. When at an event, or in training we try to live in the era. This even includes period food. No, I don’t mean that we eat 60 year old food. We make our own K and C rations. One thing that I really like to add is candy. Come on, who doesn’t like candy. Especially after you have had too many cans of ham. This online store Candy Crate offers a wide variety of wwii era candy. Some of the packaging is a bit different but the candy itself is basically the same.
