Wednesday, January 30th, 2008As a living historian I feel that accurately portraying the WWII U.S. combat veteran to of the up most importance. An individual can read the FM21-100 basic field manual cover to cover and still only see a small window into the lives of the men who were there. Thanks to the brave work of combat photographers like Dickey Chapelle and Fred Bornet we now have a real first-hand look at our troops and what they went into combat with.
